So.. Valentine's day is closing up.. and your starting to notice. On facebook there are these long romantic stories spreading, about people getting more roses each year - or a written letter by it's dead loved one, a letter that will come each valentine. The tv's starting to show all these romantic movies - with the most cliche sort of feeling and with the most cliche gestures. All the stores are starting to show that valentines day is a day for sale..Hearts and chocolate are hanging in every single corner. And maybe, just maybe, love is starting to spread in the air.

 

And you know.. each year I've said that I've hated It, because It's just been another day that passes me by. But Isn't the truth that every single person hopes for that one letter to be in the mailbox or that rose to come to the door. Or Isn't the truth that you hope to meet that one person that can change everything in that day. I mean.. You watch all these movies through the years and yeah, you learn about the cliches - the things that don't happen in real life - but truth Is that everyone wants that one specifik moment. The moment where Heath Ledger runs on the stairs, chased by the police while singing "Cant take my eyes off you" with an orchestra. And we all want the Renee Zellweger moment where she goes "You had me at hello" and we all want to be Julia Roberts saying "I am just a girl, asking a boy to love her". We all want the Lucas and Peyton senario when he says "The person standing next to me, when all my dreams come true, it's you".. and we all want the Adam Sandlers moment where he sings live on a plain and we all want the Noah&Allie kiss in the rain. I can go on and on and on.. cause you know .. We want all of It.  We want the cliche,cheesy,slimy,not-happening-moment. Or actually we want there to be one person to do the one specifik gesture. We want one moment, one person and one gesture to complete not only a day, but a story.

 

We all want love.

 

There is only one life. There Is only this - why hold yourself back?

 

There is so much else in the world - we could all give a little bit more love.
